Open Questions About Your Data Rights

The questions below cover the most common things account holders ask about how tamashabet handles personal data, from cookie consent to data deletion timelines. If your specific question is not here, reach out through the support channels listed above and we will respond within 72 hours.

We collect your name, email address, mobile number and a payment identifier such as your UPI ID or Paytm-linked number. We also log device and session data for fraud prevention. No more data is collected than is necessary to run your account.

Payment identifiers are encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not store full UPI transaction credentials on our servers; only the reference identifiers needed to reconcile your account wallet are retained, and these are accessible only to our payments team.

We use strictly necessary cookies for session management and optional preference cookies. Advertising cookies are not used on our platform. You can disable non-essential cookies from your browser settings at any time without affecting core account functions.

Log into your account, go to Settings, and select Privacy and Data to download a summary directly. Alternatively, email our privacy team with your registered account details and we will send a structured data export within the timeframe your jurisdiction requires.

Yes. Submit a deletion request through the Privacy and Data section of your account settings or by contacting our privacy team by email. We will delete or anonymise your data once any legal retention obligations — such as those covering financial transaction records — are satisfied.

We share data only with payment processors like UPI network partners and Paytm, and only to complete your transactions. All third-party processors sign data-processing agreements. We do not sell or share your information with advertisers or unaffiliated companies.

When we make a material change to this policy, we will send a notification to your registered email address and display an alert when you next log in. The updated policy will also carry a revised effective date at the top of this page.
